The Longest Mile in Iraq with 1032nd Combat Veterans Nathan Williams, Emmette Bird, Wes Brickey, Casey Brannon, and Lindsey Perdue

This is a special episode that we decided to do out of nowhere, in honor of the veterans who deal with traumatic issues on a daily basis. For the duration of their deployment, the soldiers of the 1032nd TC were essentially set up for failure in Iraq from lack of supplies, resources, or sound leadership beyond a company level. However, these soldiers preservered and are here to talk about a day that would define their lives. On January 14th 2004, host Billy Riddle, Emmette Bird, Nathan Williams, and Wes Brickey set out on a mission that would set a path for each of them. We were also joined by Casey Brannon and Lindsey Perdue, who were members of the 3rd Platoon Crew that were ambushed that day. Tomorrow is not promised, and the stories of these soldiers embody that.

This episode is dedicated to those we've lost since. Til Valhalla
